Rangers Send Lettieri Down To Hartford

The Rangers announced earlier today that forward Vinni Lettieri has been sent down to the Rangers AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Lettieri has suited up for 14 games this season and has yet to contribute to the team in terms of scoring. Granted, it’s hard to do that when you average under nine minutes of ice time per game, but Vinni has also had far more giveaways than he has takeaways according to HockeyReference. Lettieri is a player the Blueshirts still have hopes for and hopefully getting him back to Hartford will help the 23-year-old regain some confidence in his game.
