10 must see New York Rangers games for next season
The New York Rangers are on a mission to regain their 2021-22 Eastern Conference Final form for this upcoming season. New head coach Peter Laviolette will look to help this iteration of the Blueshirts get to the next level and hopefully a Stanley Cup title.
“We have a really good team and really good players,” Laviolette said in June. “My staff and I will work tirelessly to bring a Stanley Cup to New York.”
Here’s a look at 10 games that should have Rangers’ fans amped for next season.

October 12, 2023 at Buffalo Sabres (7PM)
Opening night of the 2023-24 campaign is always must see TV. Plus it’s the official first look at Peter Laviolette and his coaching style with the New York Rangers.
October 16, 2023 vs Arizona Coyotes (7PM)
The first hockey game of the year at Madison Square Garden. Hopefully the Rangers can open with two wins on the road against Buffalo and Columbus to get the fans buzzing even more.
October 30, 2023 at Winnipeg Jets (6:30PM)
Blake Wheeler returns to face old team after being stripped of the captaincy and a buyout.
November 18, 2023 at New Jersey Devils (7PM)
The Blueshirts will get their first opportunity to dish some form of payback on the Devils for the first-round elimination they suffered last Spring.
December 10, 2023 vs Los Angeles Kings (7PM)
Jonathan Quick will get his first opportunity to play against his former team after being dealt to the Golden Knights last season and signing with the Rangers this summer.
January 4, 2024 vs Chicago Blackhawks (7PM)
Connor Bedard, who was the first overall pick of the 2023 Draft, will play his first-ever game at the Garden.
January 18, 2024 at Vegas Golden Knights (7PM)
The Blueshirts will play the defending Stanley Cup Champs in a measuring stick game.
January 20, 2024 at Los Angeles Kings (7:30PM)
Jonathan Quick will return home for the first time since being traded by the Kings.
February 18, 2024 at New York Islanders (3PM)
The first game against the rival Isles will be at Met Life Stadium as the Rangers will play in the second game of the NHL STADIUM SERIES.
April 15, 2024 vs Ottawa Senators (7:30PM)
The last game of the regular season is on Garden ice as they could be either fighting for a playoff spot or better positioning.
