After Rangers OT loss, Lundqvist cries over Zuccarello

The Rangers played an exciting game in Washington where they fell in OT. After the contest, MSG broadcaster John Giannone asked Henrik Lundqvist about his feelings on Mats Zuccarello being traded. What happened on camera is heartbreaking but encapsulates how all Rangers fans are feeling today.

This morning, after sleeping on the fact that Mats was now a Dallas Star I tweeted this to sum up my feelings.

Mats Zuccarello trade is akin to that of Adam Graves. They were both heart & soul #NYR even though they played different styles. No pick/prospect/player was going to please anyone. I would love to see Zucc back on a fair deal (not a discount) because he’s earned it. Always a NYR

As for Mats Zuccarello, he already has been embraced by the Stars picking up an assist in the contest so far.
