Brad Marchand insults Ryan Lindgren post game and Tony DeAngelo isn’t having it
Brad Marchand who went head to head with Ryan Lindgren today in New York had some harsh words for him. The NHL’s poster child for pests said, “[Lindgren] is not going to be a player there that’s going to have a very long career. I’m not overly concerned with him.” Well, Tony DeAngelo who missed his second game with an upper body injury couldn’t hold back. “Lindgren will be in the league for a long time actually. Save your cold blooded BS”, as he responded to a reporter on Twitter.
Lindgren The Nemesis
Ryan Lindgren has emerged as not only a staple on this young blue line but as one of the Rangers toughest players. He came to play today and went at Marchand early and often, nearly hitting him over the boards. I guess for a player that Marchand isn’t too concerned about he didn’t stop himself from giving him a cheap shot during the second.
And since Lindgren is so much of an afterthought that his post game comments are no big deal. Seems to me that Lindgren got under his skin more than he’d like to admit. I can’t wait to see what Lindgren does in response the next time they meet.
