Here’s the latest rumblings that impact the Rangers.

Gorton to be aggressive

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone really. Jeff Gorton was aggressive at the trade deadline and is far from done rebuilding this team into a contender. Obviously, the draft is going to be his first opportunity to show just how aggressive.

Craig Custance recently wrote that according to his sources the Rangers will not be retaining all their top RFA’s and believes that one or more may be moved. The most likely names would be Ryan Spooner, Vlad Namesnitkov, and/or Jimmy Vesey.

Vigneault on the Island?
