Also in the blog, Caps winger, Andre Burakovsky is available but the defending Cup champs want roster players for him. Friedman also has a lot of interesting tidbits on the debacle that is the Philadelphia Flyers.

In the latest Spector’s Hockey blog, he provides insights into the difficulty the Leafs will face re-signing key free agents this summer. Patrick Marleau’s 6.25M cap hit is a big concern and the Leafs should ask him to waive his no-trade clause in order to retain the likes of Kaspari Kapanen and Andreas Johnsson.

The juggernauts from Toronto are next up on the schedule and Lord help the Rangers tonight. With 130 goals on the season, Toronto is 2nd in the NHL for goals for (18 behind Tampa) but they also were missing Auston Matthews for 5 weeks and just got William Nylander back in the lineup 2 weeks ago.

Well the Rangers have the good fortune of facing the Leafs at full strength and it will take a perfect effort and luck to beat them.
