Report: Filip Chytil listed as day-to-day with upper body injury
New York Rangers center, Filip Chytil will not play tonight against the Florida Panthers. He is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
The 22 year-old left early in the first period against the Calgary Flames after an accidental collision with teammate Sammy Blais.
Filip Chytil Day-to-Day
After the two players collided, Chytil went down and laid face first for several seconds in pain trying to collect himself. Eventually he would need help in getting off the ice and did not return.
Chytil has 3 points in 12 games this season.
The question is how will the Rangers set up their lines tonight? Julien Gauthier will certainly slot in on the third or fourth line. Barclay Goodrow could also play third line center if needed, which could allow Alexis Lafrenière to be put back on the first line.
