The Rangers are apparently none done flaring up my carpal tunnel syndrome. Darren Dreger reports the Rangers have moved UFA, Lee Stempniak to Winnipeg for 24 year old Carl Klingberg.

The Rangers save almost 300K in cap space with that move. Klingberg is a big Swedish kid (6’3″, 205lbs) and has 1 goal in 12 NHL games. The moves seems to be an acquisition destined for Hartford. Could Oscar Lindberg get a recall? Or does Slats have another move coming?

Meanwhile, Lee Stempniak will help the Jets in their quest to not only make the playoffs, but to make noise in it. His 9 goals and 18 points in 53 games will help them. On far too many nights he looked slow and lost in AV’s system so this move makes sense.
