Wolf Pack Sign Dan DeSalvo to AHL Deal

Winnipeg Sun

This afternoon Chris Drury signed his second player for the Wolf Pack, bringing in forward Dan DeSalvo. DeSalvo joins Hartford through an American Hockey League deal (signing does not affect the Rangers cap). Last season, he recorded 40 points (18 goals, 22 assists) in 66 games with the Manitoba Moose. In addition to playing with Manitoba, he spent time with the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL, recording 13 points (6 goals, 7 assists) in 12 games.

The second-year pro plays center and/or right wing. He will be a good depth addition for Hartford. He can provide moderate offense and play center when needed. DeSalvo has good potential coming in as a prospect and we shall see how he performs in Hartford.
